Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance teams install, repair and maintain machinery, wiring, electric fixtures and control equipment in the facilities they support. They complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Installation and repairs of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures within the facility.

• Installation of conduit and piping to house electrical wires and cables ensuring compliance with electrical codes.

• Installation of circuit breakers and other electrical hardware.

• Testing of electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.

• Troubleshooting of electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.

• Perform other maintenance related duties as assigned.

Shift: Mon to Fri 7 am to 3 pm with overtime available.

What your background should look like:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.

• Ability to operate arial lifts and similar equipment.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

• Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 1-3 years of relevant experience required.

• Industrial Certification is preferred.

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid electrician’s license required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.

• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending and climbing ladders or scaffolding.

• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit.

• Ability to work from heights

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$54,240 – 81,360 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
