Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

Job Description

This position is responsible for manufacturing oversight of a large function, or multiple functions, or a site within manufacturing. You will work with supervisors to hold team members accountable for efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance with company policy. You will drive innovation and change, leveraging your high level of technical knowledge to produce desired results using metrics.

Hard Skills

  • Experience in leadership role

  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization

  • Knowledge of processes and equipment

  • Ability to plan and implement changes

  • Math skills including good understanding of fractions and angles

  • Financial knowledge to understand and make decisions that can impact profitability

  • Ability to read blueprint drawings and cut lists

  • Computer skills including ability to use and create word documents, spreadsheets, and utilize Payroll, and Enterprise Resource Planning software

Soft Skills

  • Ability to conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive

  • Ability to handle coaching, discipline, and termination of employees as needed

  • Ability to organize and oversee the schedules and work of staff

  • Ability to work across the company using company perspective

  • Ability to communicate expectations and challenges to supervisors
