Please review the following job description:

This position performs assigned duties within Securities Operations unit for the Wealth Management business. This position will also be cross-trained in other processes to assist in absences and volume spikes.

Support Truist Wealth’s offering of Non Exchange Traded Assets (NETA) to the clients by processing the transactions needed to help them invest in many different types of Alternative Funds.

Role will involve working with client teams and Alternative Fund Managers as well as their Administrators. Role will also work with SEI Trust Co., a third party vendor, used for processing and maintaining the client accounts on the Trust 3000 system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of Truist Wealth Alternative Fund investments

  • Establish a trusting professional relationship with the outlying Truist Wealth client teams as well as with fund managers/administrators

  • Complete and execute Limited Partnership and Private Equity documents on behalf of Truist Wealth clients

  • Coordinate and process capital calls for Private Equity Funds

  • Facilitate all types of trades for non-approved client directed Alternative assets

  • Be able to multi-task and learn in a fast paced environment using innovation in balancing and focusing on the highest priorities first each day to meet deadlines

  • Investigate and resolve complex issues and effectively communicate resolutions to internal teammates, external fund managers/administrators and outside vendors

  • Assist in meeting all audit and tracking request and deadlines as it relates to both trading and vendor management

  • Participate in and lead department projects, conversions, system testing, and other ad hoc projects as requested

  • Use discretion and be highly confidential

  • Ability to think “outside of the box” in creating efficiencies in workflows

  • Read, understand, interpret, and complete various legal documents on a daily basis.

  • Speak on calls

  • Address functional inquiries and escalation

  • Write, review, and approve procedures

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience

  • Two or more years of Wealth Management experience

  • Securities Knowledge - High knowledge of a certain area/intermediate knowledge broad based

  • Detail oriented

  • Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with members of Securities Operations.

  • Good problem solving ability.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Organized, self-motivated, and dependable

  • Outlook

  • Excel – Simple formatting, formulas, and use of charts and graphs

  • Word

  • Adobe Acrobat – Intermediate experience, able to edit documents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Two or more years of Securities Operation experience with an investment service organization

  • Some Trust knowledge preferred
