Robert Half Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in Kahului, Hawaii

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in the construction industry, based in Kahului, Hawaii. The role involves overseeing financial operations, financial forecasting, analyzing business trends, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to enhance profitability. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and guiding the financial operations of the organization

• Performing financial forecasting and analyzing business trends to inform decision-making

• Preparing and presenting financial reports to stakeholders

• Developing strategies to increase company profitability and efficiency

• Establishing and implementing financial strategies and ensuring efficient cash management

• Maintaining an effective financial risk management framework

• Involvement in long-term business planning and expansion strategies

• Providing guidance for financial decision-making

• Managing budgets and liaising with auditors

• Ensuring adherence to financial regulations and legislation

• Utilizing skills and knowledge in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, Adaptive Insights, CRM, EPM, Accounting Functions, Annual Budget, Budget Processes, Business Unit, Capital Management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably within the Construction/Contractor industry

• Proficiency in using 3M and Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Adaptive Insights, CRM, EPM, and other relevant software

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions, Annual Budget, Budget Processes, Business Unit, and Capital Management

• Demonstrable experience in preparing and managing annual budgets

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and provide meaningful insights

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various business units

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) would be a plus

• Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
