Executive Assistant to the CEO Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly organized, dedicated, and driven Executive Assistant to support our CEO. With your assistance, our CEO will enhance the organization's efficiencies, allowing us to enhance our community impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including managing schedules, travel arrangements, and appointments.

  • Oversee internal and external communication, professionally representing the CEO and the organization at all times.

  • Prepare crucial documents such as reports, memos, presentations, and other correspondence.

  • Assist in the organization and execution of events such as fundraising activities, board meetings, and community outreach programs.

  • Coordinate logistics for board meetings including materials preparation, meeting invitations and reminders, and technical setup.

  • Track ongoing projects and report progress to the CEO.

  • Manage confidential matters with the utmost discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO.

    Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or a related field.

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.

  • Ability to interact with high-level executives and stakeholders in a professional manner.

  • Strong problem-solving capability and ability to work under pressure.

  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector will be an added advantage.
