1st shift: M - F, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Job Summary

  • Under general supervision (during training), performs routine to moderately complex tasks in inspection

  • Responsible for verifying the accuracy and quality of final/component product and corresponding paperwork

  • Support day to day activities within either Final, Component or Incoming Inspection


  • Ensure component and/or finished products meet company and regulatory standards.

  • May include training others in inspection techniques and procedures.

  • Will maintain quality documents.

  • Will work from engineering schematics/ blueprints and procedures to perform accurate checks and tests.

  • Will be required to comply with documentation and regulatory procedures and policies.

  • May inspect packaging and/or labeling and literature to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • May work from verbal and/or written instructions.

  • May provide feedback to assemblers to help improve their processes

  • Provide great customer support to:

  • Buyers/Planners

  • Production team Leaders

  • Assembly Team

  • Quality Engineering

  • Required to comply with corporate and local documentation and regulatory procedures and policies.

  • Work from verbal and/or written instructions.

  • Required to assess compliance of processes and procedures to standards established.

Physical Requirements

  • Medium work: May be required to move equipment up to 50 pounds, reach, push, or pull in order to accomplish job accountabilities.

  • May involve prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling as appropriate.

  • Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability.

  • The ability to work with very small objects, tools, and component parts.

  • Requires use of safety glasses in designated areas.

  • Closed-toe shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended in certain areas.

Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to observe and note minute inconsistencies.

  • Must be able to follow and explain detailed instructions and calibration procedures.

  • Must be able to explain detailed documentation accurately.

  • Must be able to communicate product and/or component part deficiencies to supervisory or engineering personnel.

  • Must be able to prioritize work effectively.

Qualifications/Work Experience Preferred

  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Eagerness to assist internal and external customers.

  • Possess attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with basic handheld gages (height stand, calipers, gage pins, micrometers, etc) preferred

  • Manage tasks in a timely manner

Education/Special Training Preferred

  • High school diploma or GED
