Job Description

As the Software Engineering Project Leader for Infrastructure Operations, you will develop detailed project plans for Automotive Service Solutions service & repair product developments, including scope, work breakdown, schedule, and project cost estimation

  • As part of the service management team, you will ensure the reliable service delivery of our software products. The focus is on release management in order to provide our customers with regular updates.

  • Providing pro-active risk management and mitigation throughout the project life cycle and identify, monitor, and manage the project critical path.

  • At the interface between product management, stake holders and development teams, you will coordinate scope, budget, delivery and change management.

  • Effective communications with cross-functional team members, individual contributors, department managers, and senior management to keep projects aligned within the organization.

  • Providing clear and up to date project status to management and team constituency.

  • Exercising appropriate influence throughout the organization to drive accountability and effective decision-making.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required, (business) informatics, (business) engineering preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT service management or IT project management, knowledge in cooperation with international and intercultural teams, knowledge of process management, software development, DevOps or IT operations is an advantage.

Demonstrated project management skills with infrastructure and operations know-how

Demonstrated effectiveness in alignment of product, market, customer, and business needs in planning and running the projects.

Personality and way of working: very good communication skills, team player, empathetic, structured, solution-oriented, responsible, proactive.

Enthusiasm: for working with different teams, familiarizing yourself with new topics and optimizing your own area of responsibility.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate and break down business and technical requirements while clarifying risk, tracking scope and ensuring clear owners with time bound deliveries.
