JBL Resources Technical Customer Support Specialist in Kalamazoo, Michigan

The experienced Technical Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers in the medical device industry.

Day-to-Day Duties May Include:

  • Answering phone calls/emails and providing technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging equipment.
  • Responding to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Reporting issues in Salesforce.
  • Participating in customer training.
  • Providing support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical device technology, software, and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Proficient in using CRM software, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and other relevant regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
