Robert Half Accounting Manager in Kansas City, Missouri

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in KANSAS CITY, Missouri, United States. This role requires a seasoned accounting professional to efficiently handle and manage a high volume of transactions, conduct complex financial analysis, and ensure compliance with statutory legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and reconciliation for cash applications impacting balance sheet reconciliations.

• Identify and rectify any discrepancies in transactions promptly and efficiently.

• Utilize accounting knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external contacts to address reconciliation issues.

• Investigate and determine the root causes of reconciliation issues and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.

• Ensure that all financial operations are in compliance with statutory legislation and regulations.

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information.

• Contribute towards the improvement of reconciliation processes and accounting procedures as needed.

• Manage, oversee, and conduct complex financial analysis, reconciliation, and reporting of cash applications that impact balance sheet reconciliations.

• Effectively manage large volumes of transactions. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with BlackLine software

• Competency in Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions

• Proficient in Auditing tasks

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Oracle software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
