BATCH MIXER/PRODUCTION WORKER

Description:

Aerotek is hiring batch mixers/production workers, with prior food manufacturing experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include safely and efficiently operating and maintaining continuous performance of the spice blend production processes, supporting quality assurance activities and timely completion of all required production documentation. Included in overall duties is to take samples, make blends, record and report accurate measurements and counts, troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment. Loading and unloading of blenders.

• Pre-weigh ingredients for each spice blend.

• Follow proper instructions on blend recipes and batch tickets to ensure products are consistently safe and of superior quality

• Safely operate mixing and product delivering equipment.

• Manage all assembly, disassembly, operations and record keeping of all blending equipment including, but not limited to, scales, blenders, sifters, magnets, metal detectors and hoppers

• Prepare equipment for runs including proper safety checks and documentation

• Load materials into blender(s) and perform pack off of finished products for all batch productions

• Follow product change overs, pack size changes and cleaning procedures between runs

• Assist in preventative maintenance procedures.

• Safely operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials.

• Adhere to all safety, operating, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies.

Physical Attributes:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

• Lift and or move up to 55 pounds.

• Read and interpret documents.

• Must be able to accurately perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division functions as required for efficient materials management and production.

Pay and Shift Timings:

Mon-Thursday-6am-4:30pm

OT occurs during heavy volumes with 1.5X pay

Pay-18-20$/hr
