We also offer psychiatric inpatient care, and we deliver therapeutic services through our community outreach clinics. Job Description

This position will be the RESCA (Residential Clustered Apartments) manager. Our RESCA (Residential Clustered Apartments) is an intensive treatment program in which we provide staff support to individuals living in an apartment building to help them live independently on their own. We have several 8-14 unit apartment buildings where individuals involved with University Health Behavioral Health live in their own apartment while they gain skills to live independently. Our clients often are experiencing severe and persistent mental illness , as well as potentially, substance use. We have an office in each apartment building that we staff seven days a week to provide daily support to our clients.

This manager will supervise the QMHPs, case managers, peer staff, and PRN staff. These staff work both during the week and on the weekend. This manager will be expected to adjust their schedule to provide weekend support to their staff when needed. There will be a minimum of two partial weekend shifts a month, in order to provide monthly supervision to each of the PRN staff.

This manager will oversee and address the clinical needs and treatment planning of all RESCA clients. This manager will rotate being on-call with the other managers in the Housing Department. This manager reports to the Director of Residential Housing.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or any other related human services field approved by the State of Missouri.

  2. Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (i.e. RN, Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, OT, etc)

  3. Two years’ experience; one of which was working with the behavioral health population.

  4. Must be licensed or licensable in the State of Missouri. Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a willingness to work with multicultural staff and clientele.

  5. Staff with a master’s degree in social work are required to have a minimum licensure of MO LMSW. (If LMSW hasn't been obtained, still apply as there may be a pathway forward.)

  6. Staff must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment.

  7. Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment.
