Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our team. You will produce highly engineered, custom-built mobile material handling machinery for rail-related markets. Using mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic assembly techniques, you will also perform welding, electrical wiring, and hitching on overhead cranes and jibs. The role involves reading and following standard work instructions, BOMs, blueprints, and other diagrams to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and timely. You will handle material, tools, and equipment manually or with jib cranes, connect hydraulic/pneumatic hosing, maintain high quality standards, and ensure consistent productivity. Additional tasks include spray painting parts, welding, preparing machinery for shipping, and rebuilding machinery.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City, Missouri.

Work Environment

Small manufacturing shop, working hours are 6 AM - 4:30 PM from Monday to Thursday with up to 10 hours of overtime. Steel-toed boots, jeans, and a t-shirt are required. Glasses and ear plugs are provided
