Dickinson Financial Corporation Multimedia Designer in Kansas City, Missouri

Summary:

The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging and innovative designs across digital and print media to support the bank’s marketing and communication efforts. This role will develop multimedia assets that enhance brand awareness, engage target audiences (including military families and banking customers), and drive customer acquisition and retention.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in design and multimedia tools, a deep understanding of brand storytelling, and an ability to translate complex financial concepts into accessible, visually appealing content.

· Content Design and Development:

o Design and produce multimedia assets, including graphics, videos, animations, infographics, social media content, and presentations.

o Create visually compelling content for the bank’s website, mobile app, social media, and email campaigns.

o Develop print materials such as brochures, posters, and direct mail campaigns.

· Brand Alignment:

o Ensure all designs align with the bank’s brand identity, guidelines, and tone.

o Maintain a consistent visual style across all materials to build brand recognition and trust.

· Video Production and Editing:

o Plan, shoot, and edit videos for promotional campaigns, financial literacy education, and community involvement initiatives.

o Incorporate motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling.

· Collaboration:

o Work closely with marketing, product, and communications teams to align multimedia content with strategic goals.

o Partner with external vendors or agencies as needed for large-scale projects.

· Innovation and Trends:

o Stay updated on design and multimedia trends, particularly in the financial services industry.

o Recommend and implement new tools or approaches to elevate creative output.

· Project Management:

o Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

o Maintain organized files and document processes for efficient workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in multimedia or graphic design, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, and animation tools.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and multimedia projects.

  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles and familiarity with web and mobile design best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with banking or financial industry marketing.

Experience in creating accessible designs for diverse audiences, including military families.

Understanding of digital marketing trends and social media content optimization
