Black & Veatch (www.bv.com) will be implementing Oracle Cloud HCM to replace their current legacy PeopleSoft 9.2 on-prem solution. They will be leveraging an implementation partner to help drive the overall project. We have a Program Manager and Project Manager that will be a part of the project, working with BV stakeholders and the SI to help partner and drive things on the BV side. The team needs to add a QA Analyst to join the team to assist with the QA needs for the project. They need this person to have proven Oracle Cloud HCM experience and proven QA experience. They will be implementing the full scope of Oracle Cloud HCM and will complete this project in 2 waves. The project is estimated at 22 months so is essential to maintain consistency with this role for the duration of the project. Oracle HCM QA Analyst We at Black & Veatch (BV), this 100% employee-owned company we are so proud of, are embarking on a 2-year journey to refresh our HR systems by moving to Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM). We’re looking for a QA Analyst with Oracle HCM or similar ERP system experience. We need your help to provide support for the QA & testing activities on this implementation. You’ll partner with BV team members and the System Integrator (SI) who is helping BV migrate to HCM, to understand business requirements and provide support in test script development, execution, retesting the defects for assigned workstream. As a QA Analyst you will be responsible for implementing standard QA/ testing practices and participating in all aspects of project testing on this implementation. This role will be in our Overland Park, KS HQ. Key Responsibilities • Develop test scripts utilizing business requirements/functional documentation & design specifications. • Execute SIT test scripts, record actual results, document, and retest defects. • Assist in test defect management process, monitor, and report on defect resolution. • Review Test Scenario's and test scripts with QA Lead and business SME's and incorporate feedback. • Coordinate execution of SIT test scripts with Project Managers, QA Lead • Review test sequence, test data required for testing with Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs • Work with QA Lead to outline Test plan for each cycle • Create test data as needed for all testing cycles. • Participate in the test plan meeting and provide feedback. • Develop test scripts for UAT scenarios identified by Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMEs • Prepare regression test suite and perform regression testing prior to each Go-Live • Support end to end testing sessions. • Provide input for Go-NoGo decisions and participate in go-NoGo meeting. Preferred Qualifications • Minimum 6+ years of experience in testing and validating Oracle HCM Fusion Functionality • Oracle HCM Fusion functionality experience including Core HR, Benefits, LA, Payroll, Talent Management, Reports is required. • Familiarity with Oracle CEMLI / RICEW • Experience in developing test cases and test plans for Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Reports, and Talent Management is required. • Experience in Data Migration testing, Functional, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing & E2E testing. • Experience in executing test cases to verify the functionality of the software and identify defects. • Creating and maintaining test data to support testing activities. • Experience working with business and IT teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and test scripts. • Experience facilitating testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution and conducting defect triage meetings is required. • Excellent communication, attention to detail & documentation skills required. • Have hands on experience on writing manual tests, executing test runs, SIT & UAT test planning & execution. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Technology or similar with 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
