Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Our client is seeking a mechanical assembler to work the assembly line. You will work alongside 5-8 other assemblers, putting together small to medium-sized motors. Responsibilities include pulling parts from receiving, using hand tools to assemble back plates and seals, and using a punch press for additional screw holes if necessary. Once assembled, the motors are sent down the line to QC for inspection. Assemblers are required to produce 200 motors each week. No electrical wiring is involved.

Hard Skills

• Worked in a manufacturing environment for 1-3 years

• Ability to read calipers and tape measures

• Read blueprints and instructions

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment

• Ability to switch between job duties efficiently

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Katy, Texas.

Work Environment

You will be working in an air-conditioned shop around other assemblers. The schedule is Monday - Friday, with minimal overtime. Jeans, work shirt, and steel-toe shoes are required.
