Key Responsibilities

  • Device, Application, and Policy Management:** Manage devices, applications, and policies through Microsoft Intune to ensure optimal performance and security.

  • Hardware and Software Support: Deliver exceptional hardware and software support, solving issues to ensure smooth operations.

  • Mentorship:** Mentor Service Desk Technicians, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the infrastructure team to learn and build skills in networking, security, storage systems, and disaster recovery operations.

  • Vendor and User Interaction: Collaborate with other IT staff, vendors, and end users to determine and efficiently implement solutions for optimal IT system performance and availability.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of demonstrable IT support, preferably in the water or wastewater industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Windows 10, Office 365, and Active Directory.

  • Experience with Intune management, Powershell scripting, and Entra (Azure) AD.

  • Familiarity with network devices, firewalls, VPN, and backup solutions.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to fix and solve hardware and software issues efficiently.

  • Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites as needed.

Certifications:

CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft 365 are a plus.
