    The Quality Assurance Associate supports the Quality Team to ensure consistent production quality standards and good manufacturing practices are enforced. This position supports document control and other quality activities as assigned.

  • Assist Document Control Activities

  • Reads and comprehends all specifications and Engineering Drawings pertaining to products, processes, quality requirements and product controls.

  • Create and revise quality assurance inspection reports, forms, and work instructions.

  • Distribute controlled documents to applicable programs and locations.

  • Audit inspection report compliance to quality plans.

  • Assist with inspection report record retention.

  • Support Quality Assurance Team

  • Assist with data collection for dimensional layouts and capability studies.

  • Montior non-conforming parts to ensure control and proper disposition.

  • Enter quality data into relevant databases and provide quality reports.

  • Other duties, consistent with skills and experience, as directed by Supervisor /Manager.

  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, standards, and practices.

  • Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.

  • Work in a team environment.

  • Mindful of improving methods and processes in completing assignments.

  • Implements new ideas on approval of supervisor/manager.

    The ability to use a computer, including word processing programs MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Typing speed minimum 40 words per minute. A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot spelling and grammar errors. Proficiency with basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and digital indicators. Occasionally requires individual to handle and transport parts and materials weighing up to approximately thirty-five pounds.

    Required: High School education. One year experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience at a previous employer may be considered and applied to the experience requirement at the discretion of the Divisional Quality Manager.

    Preferred: College course work in business administration, manufacturing technology or related courses. Two years’ experience in a manufacturing setting.
