Astrion has an exciting opportunity for aCryogenic Test Laboratory Internfor theLaboratory Support Services and Operations II Contract, supporting theSpace Division.

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Remote

JOB STATUS:Part Time 8 – 10 hours per week

TRAVEL: None

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Enrollment in a degree program in science or engineering. Scientific disciplines include chemistry, physics, materials, corrosion, or related fields. Engineering disciplines include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, structures, materials, corrosion, nondestructive evaluation, thermal, fluids, and chemical.

• Knowledge of Creo modeling

• Excellent communication, presentation and customer interface skills required.

• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.

• Must be able to coordinate work between multiple project disciplines.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects without missing deadlines or sacrificing accuracy.

• Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision.

• Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.

  DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Enrollment in a Master’s degree program in science or engineering.

  RESPONSIBILITIES

  Provide support to Cryogenic Test Laboratory projects performing Creo modeling work along with electrical and controls design.
