Job Title: Truck Driver

Job Description

• Off road dump truck drivers will be responsible for operating 40 ton Volvo dump trucks and water trucks to suppress dirt and maintain air quality on site

• Drivers will be required to safely unload material such as dirt, sand, and gravel into designated areas and perform routine maintenance on equipment

• Adherence to safety regulations at all times is mandatory

This is a fully on-site position in Carterville, GA

Work Environment

• Plant Bowen, a Southern Company/Georgia Power coal burning plant

• Drivers will operate in the heat, driving from the basin to the dump location for 10 - 12 hours a day

• Must obey speed limits and protocols due to presence of other subcontractors on site

• Work hours follow a 4 days on/4 days off schedule from 7:00am to 5:30pm, with different workdays each week

• Required PPE includes a hardhat, safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses provided by the client

• Candidates must provide a shirt with sleeves, long pants, and lace-up steel-toed boots
