Job Description
Insight Global is assisting a client in identifying a qualified Internal Recruiter for an opportunity in Kennesaw, GA for a 6-month contract to fill in for an employees personal leave. They will be responsible for overseeing a workload of 20-25 requisitions, occasionally reaching 30, encompassing not just recruitment but also vital HR functions like crafting job descriptions, managing compensation, fostering employee relations, and handling internal hiring and referrals. Approximately 40% of the role involves administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will navigate a landscape where many processes are manual, requiring strong memory retention and proactive communication for approvals. Tasked with supporting a division of 500 employees, particularly in IT, claims, underwriting, specialty insurance, and accounting roles, the role involves collaborating with staffing partners, engaging business leaders for role discussions and approvals via Workday, as well as educating on market trends and HR processes. Additional responsibilities include data gathering for HR metrics, coordinating with an HR generalist for onboarding, conducting discovery calls, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing recruiting efforts across five diverse locations outside of the Kennesaw location which includes: Massachusetts, Indiana, Minnesota, Texas.
Design, implement, and execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract both active and passive job seekers.
Provide full lifecycle recruiting to including sourcing, evaluating resumes, prescreening applicants, interviewing, performing reference checks, evaluating skills, and negotiating compensation packages.
Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.
Build a candidate pipeline using a strategic methodology and various online recruiting tools, networking, professional associations, etc.
Ensure recruiting goals are achieved and expectations are met through successful placement of professionals.
Maintain applicant database and ensure compliance with records retention.
Oversee the pre-employment processes including required paperwork, reference checks, background screening, and required drug and alcohol screening.
Ensure that candidates have a highly positive experience during the recruitment and selection process.
Coordinate college recruiting and intern programs, as requested.
Analyze the results of recruiting efforts to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
