Job Description Summary Support NA Procurement Capital and will be responsible for $102 MM for CORE projects including, but not limited to, critical equipment & services required to support Global Engineering & Manufacturing with the construction & upgrades of Lamb Weston Global operations. In addition, the selected candidate will be tasked with acting as a change agent, advancing procurement capabilities & driving strategic sourcing from a company-wide perspective. The role is expected to improve capital procurement procedures & processes. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills & the ability to influence at all levels of the company. Job Description * Own a $102m "book of business" & align to company cost, quality, delivery & service requirements * Collaborating with executives/internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies * Elevating Procurement's status as a trusted partner in Lamb Weston through customer centricity * Building appropriate Supplier Risk Management protocols with critical suppliers * Efficient communication of strategies, priorities, goals, challenges & results to stakeholders * Leading sourcing efforts & negotiating with suppliers * Identifying opportunities to extract additional value/innovation from the supply base while considering performance management & risk management approaches. * Passionately supporting ESG outcomes for assigned categories * Liaising with Legal to enable negotiation of contracts in an efficient & effective manner * Contributing procurement performance & inflationary targets as part of annual capital planning cycle Basic & Preferred Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in Procurement or equivalent industry/subject matter expertise * Experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry a plus * Bachelor's degree is required * Experience in transformation & continuous improvement of procurement * Knowledge of SAP ERP & related systems including, but not limited to, SAP Ariba & SAP Concur * Possess the ability & knowledge to negotiate, manage & enforce procurement agreements * Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills * Ability to collaborate productively with cross-functional, cross-geographical teams * Capability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver under pressure Functional Competencies * Strategic Sourcing * Risk Management * Supplier Selection & Contracting * Supplier Relationship Management * Stakeholder Influencing Industry-Competitive Benefits Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
