Job Title: Assembly Lead

Job Description

Candidates will be working in the core assembly area, leading a team of 5-10 to perform assemblies. They will be responsible for tracking production times and maintaining the flow of operations. While not responsible for hiring or firing, candidates will work closely with the supervisor and manager to meet IEA expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 5-10 in the core assembly area.

  • Track production times and ensure the flow of operations remains on track.

  • Collaborate with the supervisor and manager to meet IEA expectations.

Essential Skills

  • 3 years of mechanical assembly experience.

  • 3 years of leadership experience.

  • Ability to pass a math test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in assembly and mechanical skills.

  • Supervision capabilities.

Work Environment

The role is based in an assembly and fabrication shop, with a second shift from 1:30 PM to 12 AM, Monday through Thursday. The facility is clean and organized, though not temperature-controlled and can get hot in the summer. This position reports to the Assembly Supervisor.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
