The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is located in Kenosha and has 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a grand two-story ballroom. As a Bartender on our Banquets team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include: Verify identification and age requirements of customers. Take drink orders and serve to customers. Mix traditional and creative cocktails per hotel standard drink recipes. Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences. Maintain a clean working area, and wash glassware and utensils. Process payments for customers. Build a rapport with banquet guests to create a positive atmosphere. Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities: One to two years of experience bartending in a high-volume environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English, and other languages are advantages. Good personality and positive interpersonal skills required. Dependability and regular attendance. Ability to work evenings and weekends. City of Kenosha Bartender\'s license.
