JOB REQUIREMENTS: REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop strategic momentum for the agency with WCH Board of Directors and management team. Ensure that development and grant writing activities align with the agency\'s current and future needs. Serve as the public face of the agency. Lead and develop staff. Oversee payroll in relationship to funding. Responsible for developing and managing Agency budget in coordination with the HR/Finance Manager and Board of Directors. Directly and indirectly supervises program staff and assume overall responsibility for the administration of all programs of WCH and their evaluation on an ongoing basis of their compliance to grant requirements and best practices. Foster relationships with current and future multidisciplinary teams including the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), the Kenosha County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Multi-Disciplinary Team, etc. Develop and maintain relationships and communicate with current and local state funders (including VOCA, SAVS, DCF, Department of Housing, United Way, Kenosha County Department of Human Services etc.). Establish relationships with and pursue support from local funding sources including city, county and private foundations, corporations and philanthropists. Manage the development of grant applications, contract compliance and reporting including compilation of statistical data. Attend statewide director meetings and maintain relationships with EndAbuse, (Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence) and WCASA (Wisconsin Coalition Against Sexual Assault). Attend statewide and regional meetings as needed. Supervise and evaluate management team and performance evaluation process for all staff with a focus on promoting accountability and professional development. Oversee and approve all hiring and firing decisions under the guidelines of the WCH Bylaws. Report to the Board of Directors monthly or as conditions merit on agency progress and provide feedback and recommendations from a solutions-based, fiscally responsible perspective. Attend Executive Committee meetings and participate in the Finance and Personnel Committee meetings. Maintain open communications with the Board and foster a culture that promotes transparency. Assist with the recruitment and orientation of new Board members. Manage community education and public relations efforts in coordination with Marketing Manager. Provide presentations to community organizations and training for professionals on domestic abuse, sexual assault, and sex trafficking topics. Serve as Agency representa ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Non-profit agency management and crisis/social services experience are preferred as well as knowledge of domestic violence and sexual assault fields. Knowledge and experience in budget development, financial management, and personnel management are required. Familiarity with grant funded operations a plus. Familiarity with criminal justice and civil court processes and knowledge of Kenosha County resources is preferred. Demonstrate the capacity to foster an environment of cultural inclusivity and sensitivity and safety and belonging to all populations served. Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite required. PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and organizational skills; cultural awareness and ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders; excellent interpersonal skills; must demonstrate professionalism in high stress environment with sound judgment and a high degree of responsibility, particularly as it relates to confidentiality.
