Moseley Technical Services, Inc. Technician - Integration Engineering III - B in Kent, Washington

Precision Machine Assembler III - B Kent, WA Contract Position Responsibilities: * Manufacture, assemble, and test custom machine hardware according to written procedures, engineering models, work orders, drawings, and specifications * Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment * Perform second-party verifications and hardware inspections of engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance * Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control * Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment * Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments * Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency * Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or other large/complex assembly manufacturing environment * High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience * Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions, test procedures and P&IDs * Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around critical hardware * Experience using common assembly and integration tools * Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas * Work at heights on work stands and in lifts. * Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 40lbs * Experience with verbal and written communication of technical data, results, and associated tools (confluence, MS-Office suite) * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. * Preferred Qualifications: * Industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field * Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities * Experience in handling large/expensive components * Experience in laser tracker operation * Experience in assembling large tight-tolerance structures * Experience in new product introduction * Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment * Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification Your Recruiter Still have questions?
