Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Yard Control)

Location: Kent, WA (East Valley Highway)

Pay: $18 per hour (set-pay)

Position Type: Temp to Hire

Shift: Flexible Monday-Saturday, between 5:00 AM - 7:00 PM (8-hour shifts, 5 days/week)

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for a National Logistics Company in Kent, WA. This position involves directing truck traffic (up to 100 trucks during peak times) in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct truck movements in the yard.

  • Ensure the safety of trucks and personnel.

  • Use safety equipment (reflective jacket, gloves, LED wand, radios, etc.).

  • Maintain clear, firm communication with truck drivers.

  • Work in adverse weather conditions (cold, dark, rainy).

Requirements:

  • Must be loud, firm, and directive in communication.

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Reliable transportation (position is not bus accessible).

  • Ability to work flexible hours (Monday-Saturday).

Additional Info:

  • Temp to Hire position.

  • Safety gear provided.

  • Must be flexible with shift times.
