Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for running welding processes to ensure the integrity and quality of products. This role focuses on optimizing resources and continuously improving welding operations. The primary tasks include setting up, changing over, and troubleshooting robotic welders. A strong knowledge of Fanuc robots, teach pendants, and experience in stamping and welding is essential.
Create, modify, and maintain Welding Applications using Panasonic, Fanuc, ABB, and Nachi Robotic Welding.
Modify weld schedules and setup parameters for MIG, Spot, and Projection Welding Applications.
Modify weld fixtures setup to improve or correct welds/components position as per drawing specifications.
Create and maintain weld schedules, setup/changeover, and operator instructions.
Support Production and Maintenance teams in troubleshooting and repairing welding equipment.
Suggest improvements to performance indicators that apply to the welding process.
Validate and maintain records of welding control parameters.
Assist in training and methods for welding operations.
Utilize an HDMI screen to identify and address issues before engaging with the machine.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $35.00
