GVI, Inc . seeks an Engineering Tech IV to provide logistics and technical support on behalf of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport.

Responsibilities:

Data Management

· Update vendor part information in the OMIS™ database with the Obsolescence status, Point of Contact information, Survey Notes, and generate alerts for obsolescence status issues.

· Conduct assessments related to system components and support material readiness.

· Conduct research associated with technical refresh objectives and obsolescence issue resolution.

· Conduct parts research to support mitigating system level, component, and support material deficiencies.

· Maintain data repositories so all related engineering, supply support, and technical data is readily available for open and closed issues.

· Evaluate configuration changes for impacts to material readiness and supply support products.

· Prepare monthly reports and other reports as needed.

· Attend customer meetings and training briefs onsite as needed.

· Attend customer meetings and training briefs online as needed.

Requirements:

· Must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

· 1 year Data Management experience preferred.

· NAVAIR experience preferred.

Compensation: $31.22 + $4.57 H&W
