Naval Sea Systems Command IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) in Keyport, Washington

Summary You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) in the ACIO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION within the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. Responsibilities You will provide expertise in planning, analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, troubleshooting, installation, integration, maintenance, and management of server system architecture and associated systems. You will lead functions related to systems administration and design, as well as local and corporate application management and development on both classified and unclassified networks. You will provide design, management, and improvement of the corporate IT infrastructure environment. You will lead the administration, development, delivery and support of IT systems and services. You will develop strategy for optimal use of virtualization products and system integration with other collaborative tools within the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating preventative maintenance and technical oversight of networks to ensure compliance with established security or information assurance policies and procedures. Additionally, your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
