In this Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position, you will serve as the Public Assistance Group Supervisor (PAGS) for the Joint Recovery Office assigned to provide continued support to the County of Maui and State of Hawaii.

Typical assignments include:

• Using customer service skills to facilitate the delivery of all aspects of the Public Assistance program to applicants; to include applying policy and procedure to damage assessments, disaster surveys, and public assistance recovery operations;
• Managing recovery programs and projects; to include site inspections, summarizing damages, communicating requirements for assistance, managing applicant expectations, and using FEMA's delivery model to track projects;
• Providing supervisory oversight and technical guidance to staff regarding the delivery of a grant program;

• Managing engagement of, and collaboration with, internal external partners to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of programs or operations.
