We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is offering a Industrial Engineering Internship Summer '25 will assist with all Safety related programs including data entry, Safety document QC, SOP update entries while working under leadership at Clean Harbors’ facility in Kimball, NE. We pay student housing for the Summer of '25. $20 per hour, paid weekly.

Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
Assist with all Safety related programs including data entry, (Invest program, etc.)
Safety document QC, SOP update entries
Collection/review of Safety equipment inspections
Collection/review of daily permits, maintains all permit files, etc.
Monthly safety meeting preparation/summaries
Screening program and general facility safety oversight.
Other duties as assigned
Jr./Sr. Pursuing Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineering from an accredited US University- required
Ability to interview onsite in Kimball, NE prior to offer (we don't cover travel expenses)
Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
Must have strong logic and problem-solving skills
Individual must show leadership skills, be self-motivated with a good work history, a good attendance record and be able to work in a team environment
Ability to work in team environment
DOT Training
Proficiency in Windows based applications
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
Climb up and down vertical ladders
Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
Good hand/eye coordination
Valid Driver's License required
Punctuality and attendance required
Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen (including cannabis) and physical
Valid Driver's License- required
Updated Resume required for consideration
