JOB REQUIREMENTS: CNC Lathe Operator Overview: We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications. Duties: - Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations. - Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements. - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. - Troubleshoot issues with machines and make adjustments as needed. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Skills: - Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). - Experience with press operations and stamping presses. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. - Knowledge of CAM programming for CNC machines. - Familiarity with welding processes is a plus. - Competence in operating lathe machines efficiently. - Proficient in using hand tools for machine setup and maintenance. - Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality control. - Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
