Job Description

Our client is seeking a cleared Deployment System Engineer to sit in King George, VA but will require 75% travel around the DMV to different client sites. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with development teams and program leadership to plan and execute deployment strategies and timelines. Responsible for managing software versioning and ensuring proper code repository maintenance, implementing automation tools and scripts for efficient and consistent deployments, and conducting thorough testing to verify functionality and compatibility of deployed software. Lastly, this individual will be responsible for monitoring live deployments, identifying issues, and providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime, and maintain detailed documentation of deployment processes and configurations.

This salary ranges from $140-155,000 depending on experience

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field

-8+ years of system engineer experience, preferably in the government sector

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to relate to and understand customer needs in order to build relationships and drive customer success -Microsoft certified systems engineer

-VMware certified professional 5

-Software engineering master certification

-Amazon web services certified devops engineer null
