Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Post daily receivables, prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and periodic reports of accounts receivable.

• Review AR aging to ensure compliance, and maintain accounts receivable customer files and records.

• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer queries.

• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities per specific deadlines.

• Handle cash receipts, including bank deposits and record them in databases.

• Process adjustments, refunds, transfer bills, write-offs, and perform manual sales reports.

• Coordinate with sales department to verify if orders are shipped or returned.

  Requirements

• Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, and accounting software programs.

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
