Territory Sales Representative - Signage & Window Treatments

Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for driving business growth across a defined territory? Do you excel at building strong relationships and expanding market reach? We are seeking an ambitious Territory Sales Rep to spearhead sales efforts for two leading, locally-owned companies: a top blinds, shades, and shutters provider, and a signage business with over 25 years of industry success.

This role is key to expanding our footprint in the region, working directly with strategic ownership that has a proven track record of doubling and tripling business growth.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Territory Sales Chops: You have a proven track record of managing sales territories and driving growth. Experience in B2B and B2C sales with a focus on relationship-building is essential. Bonus points if you've built a sales territory from scratch!

  • Goal-Getter: You take initiative in setting and achieving ambitious sales targets. You have the drive to grow the territory and meet monthly revenue goals.

  • Strategic Relationship Builder: You thrive on building long-term relationships with the correct key stakeholders in an industry and have comfortability interfacing with on a B2B level with professionals in the construction, real estate, and interior design network.

  • Tech-Savvy: You love the insight a CRM provides and time it saves. You haven't met tooling yet that scares you. You welcome the use of lead generation tools and digital sales platforms and appreciate tools and tricks that help you quote, track progress and stay organized.

  • Independent & Flexible: You can work independently while aligning with the overall goals of the business. You’re adaptable and able to create new processes when necessary after recognizing a need. 

    What We Offer:

  • Base Salary: $47k-$51k annually, plus commission.

  • Earnings Potential: Expected total earnings of $70k-$80k+ in your first year, with the potential to exceed $100k+ in year two and beyond.

  • Paid Time Off: 7 sick days, 1 week of vacation, and 6 paid holidays per year.

  • Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursement during the training period, with a company vehicle provided afterward.

  • Tools & Technology: We’ll equip you with the necessary technology and tools to excel in your role.

  • Flexible Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility to meet the needs of your territory and sales goals.

  • Comprehensive Training: A 60-90 day training period to ensure your success.

    The Sales in 4 Parts: 1. Territory Growth & Brand Awareness:

  • Proactively expand the company’s presence in your territory by promoting our signage and window treatment services.

  • Network within the construction, real estate, and design communities to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

  • Represent our brands at industry events, trade shows, and local expos to drive awareness and generate leads.

  • Develop creative outbound sales strategies to grow your territory and generate interest.

    1. B2B Sales & Account Management:
  • Manage B2B sales efforts for our signage business, focusing on relationship-building with construction firms, real estate developers, and designers.

  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with existing and potential clients, adjusting your approach to meet their unique needs.

  • Build a reputation for excellent service, reliability, and quality in your territory.

    1. Lead Generation & Sales Strategy:
  • Own the lead generation process within your territory, managing a mix of company-generated and self-sourced leads.

  • Use lead generation tools and follow up with prospective clients to convert opportunities into sales.

  • Continuously evaluate and adjust your sales strategies to ensure you meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.

  • Distribute promotional materials in key areas, including new construction neighborhoods, to increase brand visibility and drive leads.

    1. B2C Sales & Customer Experience:
  • Oversee the sales and consultation process for window treatments, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact through to installation.

  • Conduct in-home consultations and installations for blinds and window treatments, dedicating 2-3 days per week to client appointments.

  • Deliver top-notch customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
