Lockheed Martin Sr. Staff C2 Systems Engineering Lead in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
Description: WHO WE ARE
Within the Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C6ISR) line of business, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team supporting LM’s pursuit of numerous US and International Command and Control (C2) and Battle Management related efforts.
WHAT WE’RE DOING
We are modernizing our Command and Control architecture to enhance integration with products throughout the Lockheed Martin enterprise as well as our mission partner products in support of the Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) mission which is critical to the C6ISR strategy.
THE WORK
Your role on this project will be to gather key interface data from external stakeholders, develop architecture options based on the interface data and formulate plans for the team to incorporate into the C2 re-architecture effort. You will be working with your technical team to deep dive into Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and schemas to evaluate potential architecture paths. Your role will be to keep the internal team and external stakeholders organized to ensure project goals are being met.

We are a Valley Forge based Engineering and Technology (E&T) organization support growth areas for C6ISR, specifically providing joint command and control solutions to INDOPACOM and international customers.
WHO YOU ARE
The qualified candidate will have a background in Systems Engineering, data architecture and interface interoperability. You will be familiar with government software data standards and how they are implemented in a software architecture. Day to day, you will be work with other Systems Engineers, SW engineers and external stakeholders. The ability to effectively communicate the project’s goals across these teammates will be critical to successfully implementing the architecture effort aligned with the project’s goals.

Basic Qualifications:
• Knowledge of fundamental Systems Engineering principles
• Proven experience working across multiple stakeholders to gather information and work towards a common solution
• Proven experience organizing multi-discipline teams to stay on track towards a common goal
• Experience working through software integration challenges
• Extensive knowledge of kill chains in support of long range operations
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Accesses
Desired Skills:
• Experience & knowledge working with Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) and Datalinks
• Hands-on experience with systems & software integration
• Experience developing System Use Cases, creating software test plans, and writing test procedures
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
