We have an immediate opportunity for a Stock Assistant Senior at our Building 100 King of Prussia, PA plant. Lockheed Martin, the largest defense contractor in the U.S., currently owns two facilities in King of Prussia which comprise over a million square feet. Our Building 100 plant has a lot of history going back six decades and the employees who work here are involved in some of our nation's most mission-critical intelligence solutions for the Department of Defense, optimizing satellite constellations, processing data through its entire life cycle and developing reliable infrastructure for information dissemination across a global network, in addition to strategic deterrence solutions for our Air Force and Navy customers.

The individual who is hired into this role will have the opportunity to work closely with internal program customers, material planning and control specialists, and logistics operations on a variety of challenging assignments, that ensures we timely induct, pull, and deliver materials ordered for those program customers when they need it. Our business is experiencing significant growth, and we anticipate our growth to continue.

The facility is located in the heart of King of Prussia just across the street from the King of Prussia Mall, the second largest mall in America with easy access to some of the biggest names in retail shopping and great restaurants surrounding the area. The facility also has a cafeteria that provides a variety of tasty, healthy, wholesome meals for breakfast and lunch. In addition, the facility has a gym with cardio machines and weight training equipment with locker rooms and showers. Overall, it is a great environment in which to work with dedicated and talented employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Inducting materials into the stockroom and filling orders by issuing materials from the stockroom.

• Conveying materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, electric dollies or other devices.

• Recording the transactions in our SAP based inventory management system.

• Conducting cycle counts to ensure the physical counts match the inventory records and vice versa.

• Weighing materials, and inspecting materials to ensure they are free of damage,

• Working closely with our hardware engineers and material planners coordinating material requests.

• Determining methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight, or height limits, turnover, and required space.

This is a 4X10A work schedule whereby the employee gets off every Friday, i.e., Monday thru Thursday work schedule, 10 hours/day.

Basic Qualifications:

• Specialized training in the specific aspects of inventory management and 1 year of experience.

• Demonstrated ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions and to operate retrieval and data acquisition systems.

• Must possess basic knowledge of computer operation and keyboard skills.

Desired Skills:

• Good oral and written communication skills

• The desire and ability to learn and take initiative to accomplish business objectives.

• The ability to lift heavy packages and boxes 50 lbs or greater.

• Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

• SAP knowledge

• ASRS knowledge

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
