The Space Security Division within Lockheed

Martin Space’s Mission Solutions business area is

seeking a talented and dedicated Systems

Engineer-IT to become a member of an Agile

team focused on both Windows and Linux administration. We are seeking someone who is interested and willing to learn additional skills from an experienced team and who can be a good communicator while working collaboratively or independently depending on the situation in the International Programs Area.

Basic Qualifications:

• Windows System Administration including

Active Directory, power shell, group policy

• Linux Administration and operations

• TS/SCI security clearance needed to start

• Available for international travel

Desired Skills:

• Effective communicator and ability to work within a collaborative team environment

• Ability to perform patch deployment via WSUS

• Background in Information Security allowing for the application of systems administration skills to work with team in resolving security findings

• Understanding of Python programming language and an ability to develop those skills

• Basic Git and GitLab knowledge

• Basic software development knowledge

• Experience with Jira or VersionOne

• Understanding of Agile principles and practices as applied to program work planning

• Ability to work under consultative (rather than prescriptive) direction.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
