DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As part of this role, your main responsibility will be to offer assistance in documenting work orders for Construction field personnel and registered ECMS Business Partners in the consulting and contracting industries. Your objective will be to enhance work processes by introducing innovative technologies, improving service delivery, and ensuring that customer service is prompt, courteous, and accurate. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in enhancing both external and internal communications, while also prioritizing the maintenance of a safe work environment. Furthermore, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the District's Labor and Compliance activities, as well as conducting inspections of construction projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia. This position is eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS).

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor; or Four years of experience in construction inspection, including one year in a supervisory capacity; and graduation from high school or equivalent certification of formal training. Completion of a training program in construction inspection sanctioned by the using agency may be substituted for high school graduation. An associate degree in an engineering or closely related technology may be substituted for one year of the required non-supervisory experience; or Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.

Other Requirements: This position also requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license. You must meet the PA residency requirement. For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
