United States Fleet Forces Command HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST in Kings Bay, Georgia

Summary You will serve as a HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST in the Civilian Personnel/Administrative Department (Code 105), Executive Department (Code 100) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY. Responsibilities You will review medical records and collect data pertaining to employees medical qualifications for assigned duties. You will consult and interact with various Navy-wide health care professionals on the implementation of electronic driven data, quality assurance program elements. You will prepare verbal and written correspondence regarding results of medical surveillance exam findings, physical qualifications of employees, and make recommendations regarding health limitations. You will serve as the Drug Program Coordinator (DPC). You will address and resolve problems that arise from fluctuation in program priorities and conflicts between various program requirements. You will ensure the command readiness is in compliance with federal, Department of Defense, and Navy Occupational health policies, regulations, standards, and laws. You will perform electronic data validation programs to ensure accuracy of transcribed information by data team members. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience coordinating the receipt, collection, logging, entering, modifying, deletion, retrieval and storage of health related data from Navy Military Treatment Facilities, as it applies to assigned military and civilian personnel. Experience tracking and reporting the status of routine medical readiness items (e.g. dental readiness, immunizations, physical examinations, periodic health assessments, pre and post deployment health screenings, and other elements.) to ensure compliance with all elements of the medical readiness program. Experience applying a wide range of methods utilized to gather, analyze, and evaluate medical surveillance data to promote quality data management processes. Experience using electronic software packages in support of database management relative to managed programs. Experience applying oral communication skills to promote public relations and command representation.
