Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

The Electrician will work under the guidance of a Journeyman level electrician, assisting in the installation, alteration, addition, and/or repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit, bending pipe (1 inch), tracing out short circuits in wiring, assisting in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors. The technician will also remove lighting fixtures and install new ones, pull MC Cable wires, secure, relocate, and organize materials, small tools, and equipment, and maintain tools and equipment. The technician will not work on energized circuits or equipment.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Newark, New Jersey.

Work Environment

The technician will work under a foreman from the company, with some of their clients including AT&T, Sephora, and Wegmans. The work will be conducted on commercial work sites with a focus on maintaining safety and cleanliness. The technician must have their own hand tools.
