Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join our growing Information Technology team. A specialist in this role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day support to our 2,000+ employees using Microsoft 365 in Kinston.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide level 2 troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 related issues which includes problem recognition, research, isolation and resolution steps.

• Work on escalations and provide prompt resolutions.

• Handle project work and manage system infrastructure.

• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to improve productivity, efficiency and reliability.

• Assist in testing and implementation of new applications and systems.

• Regularly update systems, track resolved defects, and manage bug reports.

• Participate in IT business process improvement efforts, specifically related to Microsoft 365 applications.

  Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite including, but not limited to, Microsoft Intune and other next-gen tools.

• Experience with Level 2 troubleshooting and issue resolution.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and evaluative skills.

• Ability to analyse and adapt to different situations and tasks.

• Any relevant certifications related to Microsoft 365 suite would be highly desirable.
