Aerospace Assembly Technician
Location Kirkland, Washington
Pay $26-33
Shifts: Willing to work all shifts days evenings staggered shifts overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are 2nd shift: 2:30PM to 11:00PM and Weekends from 7am-3:30pm 2:30pm - 11:00pm. Shift will vary depending on program needs
Job Description
Promote and enforce safety standards in all assigned zones and work areas.
Assemble and test various avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, and manage the installation of fiber-optics and PCBAs with precision.
Ensure lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
Assist with preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
Identify and address equipment needs, suggest process improvements, and manage floor stock inventory.
Independently manage and prioritize tasks to meet company goals.
Conduct test procedures for both component and system-level testing and maintenance.
Handle shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.
Help improve SOPs and safety procedures.
Preferred Skills
Certification/license in Aircraft Powerplant (AP) and/or Avionics.
ASE certification or comparable experience.
CFOT certification or similar experience.
Minimum of 1 year experience in reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and drawings.
Experience handling FOD and ESD sensitive hardware and adhering to clean room protocols.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing roles and responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Prior military service.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Must be ITAR Compliant, Candidates must have a birth certificate or passport.
