Description

We are in search of an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be working in the finance industry, utilizing your skills in accounting software systems, accounts payable and receivable, and data entry. You will be expected to efficiently process customer applications, maintain accurate records, and resolve customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage financial transactions

• Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Ensure data entry tasks are completed accurately and promptly

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and transactions

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with financial procedures and regulations

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems

• Analyze financial data and prepare balance sheets

• Regularly review accounting systems and procedures and make necessary improvements.

Requirements • Possession of a minimum of one year of experience in the accounting field

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrated understanding and experience in managing Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
