Description

We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Benefits Administrator in Knoxville, Tennessee. This role will serve as a crucial point in managing comprehensive benefits administration with a strong focus on leave of absence management, employee communication, and meticulous documentation processes. You will be responsible for handling high volumes of benefits requests and employee interactions, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service to employees.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of employee leave of absence, including FMLA, ADA, personal, and other types of leave.

• Track and process leave requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of all leave transactions and ensure timely communication with affected employees.

• Handle heavy volumes of benefits inquiries and requests from employees.

• Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits and leave of absence queries.

• Communicate complex benefits information clearly and effectively to employees.

• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for benefits and leave processes.

• Implement data updates and ensure timely loading of files and reports.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve employee issues.

• Assist with data implementation projects and initiatives to enhance benefits administration.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Benefits Administrator or in a similar role

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas

• Experience with COBRA Administration

• Familiarity with compliance regulations related to benefits administration

• Ability to perform accurate data entry tasks

• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) provisions

• Experience in managing leaves of absence

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred but not required
