UNITED ELEVATOR SERVICES LLC Contracts Manager in Knoxville, Tennessee

Summary: The Contracts Manager provides a consistent point of contact for both internal employees and external parties to plan and update. The Contracts Manager ensures that agreements with suppliers, clients, and partners are executed efficiently and align with organizational goals and standards. This position plays a vital role in minimizing risk and enhancing operational and financial performance through detailed contract oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Contract Management:

  • Craft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of contracts covering diverse transactions.
  • Create and maintain relationships with suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters.
  • Maintain records for correspondence and documentation related to established and ongoing contracts.
  • Monitor contracts and decide on close-out, extension, or renewal based on the companys best interests.
  • Solve contract-related issues with other parties and internally within the company.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate and present contract-related information to stakeholders.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on contract status and address any concerns.
  • Coordinate with various departments, providing clarity and guidance on contractual issues.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure all contracts adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as corporate policies.
  • Ensure adequate insurance coverage is maintained for contracts as needed.

Finance and Negotiation:

  • Provide financial analysis to evaluate the benefits of contracts to the company.
  • Negotiate terms to maximize benefits and minimize risks for the company.

Supervisory Responsibility: Supervise Project Coordinators and the Service Billing Lead, overseeing contracts and service billing functions and personnel. Ensure effective management and alignment with organizational goals.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, economics, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Preferred experience in the construction industry. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy. Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM), a plus.
