Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Engineer near Knoxville, TN. This person will need a strong knowledge of PLCs.

Responsibilities:

· Modify PLC programs

· Design of Electrical Hardware and Software for Industrial Production Machinery.

· Negotiate with Production Engineering to Clarify Project Specification.

· Develop Quotation for Electrical System, Including Purchased Components and Labor.

· Design of Safety Control Circuit, Hardware Circuit, and Generating Hardware Drawings.

· Creation of Machine Software to Control the Machine (PLC, Robot, Vision, Servo Motors, etc.).

· Adjustment / Debug of the Machine Software during Machine Construction and Install.

· Updating Final Electrical Drawings to Reflect Changes Made during Machine Construction.

· Create Electrical Portion of the Machine Operation Manual.

Requirements:

· Electrical design experience

· PLC experience

· Experience with vision systems is preferred

Job Type

This is a full-time opportunity.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position near Knoxville, Tennessee.

Work Environment

This position requires hands-on adjustment of machinery and software development. You will be working closely with the Production Engineering team and other departments to ensure smooth operation of the machine.
