Surge Staffing Forklift Operator in Knoxville, Tennessee
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high and/or precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and extreme heat, and confined spaces
This may require climbing stairs/ladders, bending, kneeling, crawling, and/or stooping

Learn and apply all safety, operational, and environmental policies; continuously and proactively learn new skills and processes
Operate several types of industrial vehicles to include forklifts, skid steers, scissor lifts, boom sifts and a front-end loader
Complete operator level equipment monitoring, cleaning and maintenance
Read and interpret blueprints and manuals
Perform basic computer functions including the writing of work orders and cross-referencing stockroom information and work effectively with web-based computer programs
Receive and apply instruction from management, supervisors and peers
Works rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and overtime as required
Demonstrate progress and increasing proficiency in job tasks using written instructions and on-the-job training
The employee must be able to position self to operate, inspect, maintain, and repair all machinery and equipment on plant floor
