Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician

★ Job Description ★

• Prepare medication and healthcare products for patients.

• Process prescriptions using computer software.

• Take prescriptions over the phone.

• Label and record dosage information.

• Monitor medication and supply storage and inventory.

• Insert prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system.

• Review prescription and patient information with a pharmacist.

  ★ Hard Skills ★

• State of TN Licensed

• Customer Service

• Certification as a pharmacy technician

  ★ Work Environment / Shift

• Small local pharmacy with some compounding / Tight-knit team!

• The biggest difference from a chain pharmacy is the volume of scripts -- will see fewer at this pharmacy.

• Work hours are 9:00AM-6:00PM / M-F with one day off during the week (likely Tuesday but flexible) / every other Saturday 9:00AM-2:00PM
