We are looking for an energetic, self-starter, based in Knoxville, TN to serve as a Procurement Manager with our Supply Chain team. To be successful, one needs to be able to think critically, understand the full scope of each account, and problem solve. The ideal candidate will be able to get the big picture while paying close attention to specific details and processes. Once hired, the candidate will undergo initial training and assist other procurement managers as well as account managers. After demonstrating the ability to successfully manage accounts and suppliers, the candidate will assume full responsibility for selected accounts. Responsibilities

• Serve as the key contact for various accounts and suppliers.

• Work within our software systems (Microsoft BC and Custom Platform) to set up purchase orders and manage data including item info, supplier info, and transactional data.

• Meet the needs of suppliers and clients, including but not limited to prompt response to all inquiries, PO set- up and management, reporting, lead-time management, and troubleshooting.

• Effectively communicate key account information to internal stakeholders (Finance, IT, Account Management, and Inventory Control) ensuring that all are kept abreast of account requirements and issues.

• Manage procurement workflow in a way that meets the needs of the client, supplier, and internal resources.

• Set-up POs and items in data base/software systems. Enter receipts. Accuracy and attention to detail are important.

• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly reports for clients and/or suppliers.

• Create and maintain spreadsheets for use internally and for clients/suppliers. Needs to interpret data and analytics.

• Perform other duties as assigned
